Local Staycation + Family ‘Reunion’

Traveled from Niceville, FL starting July 15, 2023 for 4 Nights

We always feel scrunched in our own house when a good number of family members come in to ‘reunion.’ We decided to rent a local house from CCR that was close to the beach and all the fun Destin, Miramar Beach & Scenic 30A. It worked out great! And I was on vacation too. We always enjoy family while they’re here but we actually never have had a coastal vacay. Wonderful!!! Oh, and our pups came too. The fenced yard made that convenient.

Highlights included a fishing trip with Capt LW of Intracoastal Experience. Book him early. He launches out of Destin Harbor. It was amazing. We also enjoyed brunch at Crackings in Destin. Yum! The Back Porch was amazing for dinner and got us all seated pretty quickly despite the crowd. Another dinner at Stinkies was also very good. Loved their selection of t-shirts as well. Oh, and try Frost Bites at Seaside – the oldest little Airstream on the street there. Their shave ice is to die for and they have very cool t-shirts too.

Gabriel was great at Vacation Rentals Destin – so nice and responsive. The house was immaculate and nicely laid out. We’ll be back!
